A comprehensive 3-year undergraduate degree covering the full breadth of psychological science β from biological foundations and cognitive processes to psychopathology, community psychology, and African perspectives.
An intensive one-year postgraduate programme combining advanced research methodology, data analysis, and specialist electives β preparing students for Masters-level study and professional registration.
Competitive entry based on undergraduate psychology performance. Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree with the necessary psychology credits. Selection is primarily on merit. Interviews may be conducted.
Coursework (50%) and written examinations. The research project is externally moderated. Cum laude requires β₯75% weighted average; summa cum laude requires β₯80%.
Primarily seminar-based with prescribed readings. Students present topics, lead discussions, and produce research. At least one 90-minute session per module per week.
All students must complete these three modules totalling 80 credit points.
Choose 3 electives (48 credits). Availability depends on staffing and minimum enrolment of 5 students.
